Audie is a 6 month old mix breed puppy. He was found wandering with another older pup.  Sadly neither dog were claimed. Audie was very emaciated. He has been in foster care for over a few months being fed a high quality food that is help get him on the right track. He is now ready for adoption. Audie is a sweet pup with a friendly, goofy and lovable personality. He does well with other dogs and has a gentle personality so would likely be fine with kids. Audie now weighs 40 pounds. We think he will be a medium size adult.  We have no idea what breed he may be. Our best guess is lab, boxer and maybe even some hound. He is a cutie, pictures don't do him justice. Audie is crate trained and house broken. If you are interested in this dog please fill out an online application on our website:                          https://barkdogfarm.rescuegroups.org Before applying be sure you have thoroughly researched Great Pyrenees.  They can be stubborn, prone to barking, overly protective and cannot be off leash.  You WILL NOT train a pyr to boundaries.  Please be sure all family members are in agreement to adopting and your family is ready to bring dog home now. Applicants must be at least 21 years old. A volunteer will be in touch to discuss your application and the dog to determine if it is a good match. Your vet and two references will be called.  A virtual home visit done. Once approved a meet and greet at the farm will take place.  If all are in agreement and the animal has received its NH health certificate an adoption contract will be signed and adoption fee paid.  Adoption fees for dogs are $450. for adults over 12 months, $500 for puppies 12 months and younger.  Fees for seniors, special needs or harder to place dogs will be determined by our Board of Directors. All dogs will be altered when adoption is finalized, up to date on age appropriate core vaccines, negative for parasites, heart worm and lyme tested if 6 months or older, microchipped and have a current health certificate.  Proof of a basic obedience course completed is part of our adoption contract within six months. Our descriptions are based on shelter evaluations, input from foster homes and interactions with our volunteers but are in no way a guarantee of temperment.
