Meet Ember. This sweet girl is six months old. Her mom a great pyrenees, dad an english bulldog. Ember is a gorgeous brindle with white. She’s good natured. Loves attention and being around other animals. She has been around cats and dogs of all sizes and been exposed to chickens behind a fence without much interest. She loves playing but not really high energy. She has been around kids and likes them but she has knocked the youngest down by running into her so tiny kids may not be a good idea. She’s rather clumsy but still a pup. She does need room to run. She would benefit from an owner with time to exercise her more and who is home alot as Ember came from a home where they were with her constantly. She loves full body hugs and rubs. Ember will sleep thru the night beside your bed. She doe pretty good on leash but would definitely benefit from a training class which she is the perfect age for.

Please be sure all family members are in agreement to adopting and your family is ready to bring dog home now.

Applicants must be at least 21 years old.

A volunteer will be in touch to discuss your application and the dog to determine if it is a good match. Your vet and two references will be called.  A virtual home visit done. Once approved a meet and greet at the farm will take place.  If all are in agreement and the animal has received its NH health certificate an adoption contract will be signed and adoption fee paid.  Adoption fees for dogs are $450. for adults over 12 months, $500 for puppies 12 months and younger.  Fees for seniors, special needs or harder to place dogs will be determined by our Board of Directors. All dogs will be altered when adoption is finalized, up to date on age appropriate core vaccines, negative for parasites, heart worm and lyme tested if 6 months or older, microchipped and have a current health certificate.  Proof of a basic obedience course completed is part of our adoption contract within six months.

Our descriptions are based on shelter evaluations, input from foster homes and interactions with our volunteers but are in no way a guarantee of temperment.
