Our little Muppet babies will be available in early December. They will be approximately 4 months old in early Dec. These little babies were found wandering the streets in Tupelo, MS. They were taken to the local Humane Society were they were altered, given shots, dewormed,etc. They are happy, friendly little pups that currently weigh between 15 to 20 pounds at 3 months. Janice is a snuggle bug who wants to be in your lap, Fozzie and Miss Piggy want pats but love to run and play. We really have no idea what these little Mississippi Mystery Mutts are. https://barkdogfarm.rescuegroups.org Before applying be sure you have thoroughly researched Great Pyrenees. They can be stubborn, prone to barking, overly protective and cannot be off leash. You WILL NOT train a pyr to boundaries. Please be sure all family members are in agreement to adopting and your family is ready to bring dog home now. Applicants must be at least 21 years old. A volunteer will be in touch to discuss your application and the dog to determine if it is a good match. Your vet and two references will be called. A virtual home visit done. Once approved a meet and greet at the farm will take place. If all are in agreement and the animal has received its NH health certificate an adoption contract will be signed and adoption fee paid. Adoption fees for dogs are $450. for adults over 12 months, $550 for puppies 12 months and younger. Fees for seniors, special needs or harder to place dogs will be determined by our Board of Directors. All dogs will be altered when adoption is finalized, up to date on age appropriate core vaccines, negative for parasites, heart worm and lyme tested if 6 months or older, microchipped and have a current health certificate. Proof of a basic obedience course completed is part of our adoption contract within six months. Our descriptions are based on shelter evaluations, input from foster homes and interactions with our volunteers but are in no way a guarantee of temperment. Please know we practice Covid-19 guidelines for mask wearing and social distancing. Only approved applicants are allowed to meet our dogs outdoors.
