*$300 adopt fee*Magellan is a super sweet 12 month old boy that is dog social. He would do great with another dog, preferably a female but he loves human companionship as well. He is our resident lover boy. He loves to snuggle. Magellan and his siblings were abandoned on a property in MS after the home had burned. The siblings are 12 month old great pyrenees mixes. We do not known what the mix is. Magellan and his brothers weighs approximately 80 pounds.  They are quiet in their kennels and only potty outside. Magellan is great on leash and has been walked by children. He loves toys and long walks.  Please visit our website for more pictures of this dog and info on our adoption process and application which is located on the left column under "forms & applications" :                            https://barkdogfarm.rescuegroups.org Before applying be sure you have thoroughly researched Great Pyrenees.  They can be stubborn, prone to barking, overly protective and cannot be off leash.  You WILL NOT train a pyr to boundaries.  Please be sure all family members are in agreement to adopting and your family is ready to bring dog home now. Applicants must be at least 21 years old. A volunteer will be in touch to discuss your application and the dog to determine if it is a good match. Your vet and two references will be called.  A virtual home visit done. Once approved a meet and greet at the farm will take place.  If all are in agreement and the animal has received its NH health certificate an adoption contract will be signed and adoption fee paid.  Adoption fees for dogs are $450. for adults over 12 months, $550 for puppies 12 months and younger.  Fees for seniors, special needs or harder to place dogs will be determined by our Board of Directors. All dogs will be altered when adoption is finalized, up to date on age appropriate core vaccines, negative for parasites, heart worm and lyme tested if 6 months or older, microchipped and have a current health certificate.  Proof of a basic obedience course completed is part of our adoption contract within six months. Our descriptions are based on shelter evaluations, input from foster homes and interactions with our volunteers but are in no way a guarantee of temperment.
